  I use to love this place but now I feel it just doesn't fit the bill. Their food is good most of the time but a little over priced. The service is good and the atmosphere is good. If you have never been here I think you should go. If you went there years ago you maybe a little disappointed. If you go all the time, you shouldn't be reading this because you can form your own opinion, lol.

  Good food, friendly efficient service. It's big and well staffed so you rarely have to wait. Has a large gift shop attached full of native and southwestern handicrafts and art.

  This one gets a 4 all of the others get a 2.5 (including the Standard Diner). The menu prices are high, portion size and quality of the food is inconsistent, and you may get a cool server or someone who is boring and dry. When they are on they are awesome, but sadly it is a crap shoot for the ABQ locations. Suggestion, cut everything on the menu by a buck, train your staff, and get new managers who understand customer sat, and quality control. Not unusual to sit 3-5 minutes for a glass of water. For example, we went to the newer one on Rio Grande. My wife always orders the Benedict for breakfast. One week she had about 1/2 portion of potatoes (3 to 5 chunks), and too much sauce. The following week, she got a normal portion of potatoes, overcooked eggs, and so little sauce she had to ask for more. We spoke with the manager, and she asked us to give them another shot, as they just changed managers. Strike three, we are done. We will still drive to the one in Bern, because we like the motorcycle ride, but we will no longer go to the ones in Albuquerque, until we hear things are a changing.
